FOOTBALL FANTASY CAMP RETURNS IN 2008!
Get the latest news, updates, and comments here!!!

We are thrilled to announce that Nittany Lion fans will be able to live out their fantasies of playing football at Penn State, June 11-15, 2007.

"The only way to improve the Camp would be to hold it every other week! Other than that, don’t change a thing,” commented J. D. Shearer, 30 years old from Greensburg, Pa.

An expanded list of former star players is expected to come share their stories and intimate knowledge of Penn State Football. Lettermen including Todd Blackledge, Dennis Onkotz, John Greene, Eddie Johnson, Rich Rosa, Wally Richardson, Ricky Sales and Brad Scovill added much to the Camp. Scovill noted, “It was great to watch these guys have so much fun! Thanks again, and hope you invite me again next year.”

A sellout group of 60 is expected for 2008, based upon those returning for their “sophomore” and "junior" years as well as the strong interest which has been stirred among Nittany Lion fans. The average age this year was 45, with players and honorary coaches ranging from 28-67 years. The Camp is open to all men ages 22 and over, as the practices are customized to fit each player’s desire and ability. David Lipson, PSU Class of ’65, bragged, “I will remain the only 62-year old guy in the history of the world who made a tackle (flag) in Beaver Stadium!”

Once again the Penn State Camp will feature 4 practice sessions, expert talks on recruiting and game day preparation, meals in the Mount Nittany Club, Letterman’s Club, President’s Suite of Beaver Stadium, and Pollock Training Table. The highlight of the experience will be the Blue-White Flag Game in Beaver Stadium, complete with video board, Blue Band recorded sounds, P. A. announcer, officials, and four-15 minute quarters of football. In 2008 players will be housed in the Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel, and all will receive both color of game jerseys, game pants, Nike cleats, authentic helmet, camp t-shirt, polo shirt, shorts, hat and duffel bag.

You are encouraged to register soon in to reserve a place for yourself or a loved one, as only 60 total roster spots are available. Information and registration are available at www.PennStatefantasycamp.com , or call Yvonne Noell at 800-366-3772. You may also contact Camp Director Patrick Steenberge for information.
